What day is today? month? year? season?
What kind of weather is it today? Does it feel cooler or warmer than yesterday?
Would you say it is a "lion" or a "lamb" day?
Today is the last day of March. Do you know what month comes next?
*Today is day 128... pick someone to count back and forth with. You do not need to start with 1. Start with a bigger number so that it doesn't take so long. Ready... GO!

Tap, Clap, Slap out these words for Kk.
Sight Words -
You can listen and follow along
Sight Word Practice
Practice the words on your word ring.
Red Words
Do you know all the RED words on your chart?
If not practice the ones that are still tricky.
If you do, your new word is:
by
Did you add this word to your chart? If not, do it today.
Grab a red crayon and write the word
by
3x (tracing on top of the first
by
) saying each letter b-y by b-y by b-y by (like we do in school)
Now grab a pencil. See you if can write this sentence. (Read to your child orally - your child will pound out the sentence)
She is by the hut.
Do not help your child. Tell him/her to try his/her best and to pound out each word. She was last week's word and he/she should know it (if not practice it more). Then ask...
Did you start your sentence with an uppercase letter?
Did you underline the word "by" in red?
Did you put a period at the end.
Now you can help your child. You can write the sentence on another piece of paper and show your child. Compare the two and explain any differences. Have your child fix his/her sentence and reassure him/her that it is ok.
