Earth Day is an annual event celebrated around the world on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. It was first celebrated in 1970, and now includes events in more than 193 countries.

Count up and back to ten: Have students start counting up while you show a thumbs up. When you show a thumbs up they will count down. This will help greatly when counting on and back for addition and subtraction.
