Today Mrs. Gambutti will be starting a new science unit, “The Effects of the Sun”. Mrs. Gambutti would love to see your amazing Launch work. Please send her pictures and videos of what you do. Remember Mrs. Gambutti covers required kindergarten science content...and she makes it super fun!

Students- Read Looking in the Ocean with parent guidance

-Reread text for accuracy and understanding

Parents- listen to students read and guide them through any errors by providing prompts:

-Look at the picture. -Is that a word we already know? -Can you say all the sounds in the word?

-Can you reread the sentence to make sure it makes sense?

Students- write a sentence: What is one animal Alex and Jack saw? What size was the animal?

Students- draw and label a picture of two animals that are similar in size.
