Notes to Parents-updated

All assignments are due by the time we return to school.

If you can submit your works through Google Classroom then remember to press TURN IN and TURN IN again.  If your work is a hard copy of a paper and you wish to print it,  place it in a folder so we can look at it together when we return to school. It is helpful if you write the date on each paper. Thank you!

Please know that these activities do NOT need to be completed in one sitting.  Complete them in any order and whenever it works best for your child.  REMEMBER take breaks whenever you need them. (see below)

It is not necessary to print something if you do not have access to a printer.  You can always do your best on a separate piece of paper.  We can work together on this...no worries.

If you are having trouble with Google Classroom, go back to the Old Tappan Schools website and there is a video to help you.

Here is the link to our Google Classroom if you need it:

moves(somersault, backbend)
equipment (vault, floor mat, etc)
why is it good for you
famous gymnasts

Take your information from chapter two and turn it into  1-2 sentences: (example)

   Chapter Two: MOVES
Gymnasts learn many moves. Sometimes you go backwards and that is called a backbend. When your feet go over your head, then back on the ground that is a flip or cartwheel.
I know your All About Books will be amazing!  Keep it simple and try your best!

Social Studies:  Map Skills-cardinal directions
The students brought the packet home on last week.

Next Page is Cardinal Directions (North, South, East, West)

1. watch this video- Map directions 2. write each direction in the correct box 3. Ask someone in your family to hide something in a room. They will give you cardinal directions (North, South, East, West) to find it. 4. Switch and now you hide something and tell someone in your family the directions to find it.
