Notes to Parents-updated

All assignments are due by the time we return to school. 
 
If you can submit your works through Google Classroom then remember to press TURN IN and TURN IN again.  If your work is a hard copy of a paper and you wish to print it,  place it in a folder so we can look at it together when we return to school. It is helpful if you write the date on each paper. Thank you!

 Please know that these activities do NOT need to be completed in one sitting.  Complete them in any order and whenever it works best for your child.  REMEMBER take breaks whenever you need them. (see below)

It is not necessary to print something if you do not have access to a printer.  You can always do your best on a separate piece of paper.  We can work together on this...no worries.

Independent Reading:
 Students should be reading for at least 15 minutes.  They may read  any FICTION  books from RAZ Kids books (see link below or from our Google Classroom)

SELECT A TOPIC-THINK OF A TOPIC YOU ARE AN EXPERT ON-WRITE MINI TOPICS ABOUT THIS TOPIC-YOUR FAMILY CAN HELP YOU WITH THIS (tomorrow you will take these ideas and begin writing in sentences)  See example below.

Game:  Practice following directions
Make a pretend piece of gold.  Have someone in your family hide it in a room in your house.  They will give you directions to find it.  Say HOT when you are getting close and COLD when you are getting further away.  Say HIP HIP HOORAY when you find it!
