Dear Parents,

Field Day is scheduled for Friday, June 6, 2025! (Rain date is Monday, June 9th, 2025.)  

The Physical Education staff and administration are planning fun activities for all TBD students.  Field Day events will be held on the field between the TBD and CDW schools. 

In order to make Field Day a success, please be sure that your child wears the appropriate footwear and clothing. The only acceptable footwear is Velcro, zipper, or tie sneakers that fit over the entire foot. Sandals, open-back sneakers, flip-flops, or Crocs are not appropriate. Shorts and TBD Spirit t-shirts are recommended attire.  Other items you may want to consider sending in with your child include sunscreen, a hat, and a water bottle labeled with his/her name.

GRADES K – 2

         8:45 a.m.                               Introduction to Field Day (on the field)

                9:00 a.m.                               Activities start

         11:30 a.m.                              Student activities end

         11:30 a.m. -11:40 a.m.             Prepare for lunch

LUNCH AND RECESS

         11:40 a.m.-12:05 p.m.             Lunch for grades K/3/4 Recess for grades 1/2

         12:05 p.m.-12:30 p.m.             Lunch for grades 1/2    Recess for grades K/3/4

         GRADES 3 - 4

         12:35 p.m.                             Report to the field

         12:40 p.m.                             Introduction to Field Day (on the field)

         12:45 p.m.                             Activities start

         2:35 p.m.                         Student activities end

         2:35 p.m.                               Students return to the classroom and prepare to go home

If you would like to volunteer and assist with the various Field Day activities, we encourage you to sign up using Signup Genius. Please pick either the morning, afternoon, or both to help volunteer this year. All sign-ups will end on May 31st. Everyone who signs up will be assigned a location to help when they arrive on Field Day. No confirmations will be sent, as all volunteers will be used!
