Dear Parents,

Field Day is scheduled for Friday, June 5, 2026! (Rain date is Monday, June 8th, 2026.)  

The Physical Education staff and administration are planning fun activities for all TBD students.  Field Day events will be held on the field between the TBD and CDW schools. 

In order to make Field Day a success, please be sure that your child wears the appropriate footwear and clothing. The only acceptable footwear is Velcro, zipper, or tie sneakers that fit over the entire foot. Sandals, open-back sneakers, flip-flops, or Crocs are not appropriate. Shorts and t-shirts are recommended attire. (See below) Other items you may want to consider sending in with your child include sunscreen, a hat, and a water bottle labeled with his/her name.

GRADES K – 4

         8:45 a.m.                               Introduction to Field Day (on the field)

        9:00 a.m.                               Activities start

         11:30 a.m.                              Student activities end

         11:30 a.m. -11:40 a.m.             Prepare for lunch & Recess

LUNCH AND RECESS

         11:40 a.m.-12:05 p.m.             Lunch for grades K/3/4 Recess for grades 1/2

         12:05 p.m.-12:30 p.m.             Lunch for grades 1/2    Recess for grades K/3/4

         GRADES K-4

         12:45 p.m.                             Students will be called to the Big Gym by grade level

         12:55 p.m.                             Introduction to Field Day Part 2 (Big Gym)

         1:00 p.m.                             4th Grade Volleyball Game & 4th Grade vs Teachers Game

         2:30 p.m.                         Student activities end

         2:35 p.m.                               Students return to the classroom and prepare to go home

If you would like to volunteer and assist with the various Field Day activities, we encourage

you to sign up using Signup Genius. Our 8th grade students will also help volunteer this year. All sign-ups will end on May 29th. Everyone who signs up will be assigned a location to help when they arrive on Field Day. Thank you for all you do to support our school community. We look forward to a fantastic 2026 Field Day!
